May 20th

Ryan celebrated his 36th birthday on May 20th....he was lucky enough to spend the day at Rylie and Sydnie's dance recital.....needless to say, he wasn't very excited about it, but he was a trooper and stayed for the entire show!  What an awesome dad!

Dying Easter Eggs

We had been so crazy busy before Easter that we did not have time to dye our own Easter Eggs.  So Rylie, Sydnie, and I decided that we would do it after Church.  The twins had a great time.  And I have a wonderful gal I work with at school that discovered a great way to dye eggs....with wire whisks....who knew!

Our Easter Egg kit was 3D and came with 3D glasses.  Hallie & Sydnie thought the glasses were pretty cool!

What a nut!

Easter is such a fun holiday...however, it is easy to get wrapped up in the worldly meaning of Easter....which I do...but I am truly grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me and sent his son, so that we may all be able to return to live with Him again.  I am grateful for the Atonement and for the opportunity to be an eternal family.  What a great time of year, that we are able to remember all that He has done for us!!

Easter Party at Grandma Joy's

This year we were able to go up to Soda for an Easter Party at Grandma Joy's.  The babies had a great time finding all of the Easter Eggs.  We started with a hunt in the house to find real eggs, and then we went outside to find more.

Outside Hunt
It is so fun to see their excitement.  They would see an egg, say egg as they pointed, and then run to it.

Rylie and Alexa waiting patiently for their turn.  They had to wait for all of the "little" kids to go first.

Sydnie...where has she been the whole time...perhaps scouting out the eggs, for when it is her turn....

Oh, we have found a trampoline again!  Forget the eggs!

Great-Grandma Wilson with Papa G watching all of the excitement.

Trying to get a picture of all the kids and their loot.  Unfortunately, it didn't work out so well.  Too many little ones, wanting their candy.
