Sydnie's Baptism June 1st, 2013

On June 1st, 2013, Sydnie was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  We are so proud of her and the decision that she has made to be baptized.  She is such a wonderful young lady and a great example to her sisters.  She loves to help them, for the most part!  She enjoys learning new things and most of all being outside with her dad!  We are very proud of you Sydnie!

Sydnie was baptized and confirmed by her dad.  Such a great day!

We had dinner at the North Park Pavilion, with family and friends.  We had Papa G makes is famous "Milk Can Dinner."

Preschool Graduation, May 29, 2013

Hallie and Remie have been attending preschool with mom, during the last school year.  Hallie has been in Ms. Joy's class, and Remie has been in Ms. Kaydee's.  They love going to school with mom...and seeing their amazing teachers and friends.

They get to go with mom and spend about 45 minutes in her classroom, before school starts.  Posing for a picture, loving each other!

Sydnie Turns 8 while camping at Devil's Creek

We have a Memorial Day tradition, which takes us to Devil's Creek Reservoir.  This year was no exception.  We went May 24th - 27th, 2013, and spent the weekend with Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Von, and Julie and Brian, and their family.  The weather was wonderful and the best part, was that Sydnie turned 8.
(I hope she enjoys spending her birthday in the great outdoors, because that seems to be a tradition too!)

Crafting - making pens for mom to take to the preschool.

Sydnie - waiting very patiently to open her gifts.  She picked what we had for dinner that night, turkey fried steaks with stuffing....

I guess one of the perks of having a birthday while camping, would be that you get to have cobbler for your cake. (Atleast mom thinks it is one of the perks, cause she didn't have to worry about a birthday cake! Whoot, Whoot!)
Sydnie wanted her dad to make a cherry chocolate cobbler, which was delicious!!
Happy Birthday Sydnie!! We Love You!!

Rylie Runs the Wellsville Mile 5/13/13

While in 4th Grade, Rylie practiced running a mile everyday, in preparation for the Wellsville Mile.  She did great!  She finished in about 10 minutes.  She wanted to run with one of her friends.  We are so proud of her, and hope she continues running.

Remie Becomes a Beautician

As I went to go to bed on the night of April 24th....I noticed some hair laying on the step.  I picked it up and thought, "Oh, No!!"  However, since all of the kids had gone to bed, I couldn't do any detective work.

The next morning I immediately went to the twins....and this is what I found.....

Remie had cut both sides of her hair.  I had a hair appointment already set up for all of us, two weeks later....and I didn't want to make a bigger mess out of it, so I just left it until we could get to "Peggy's."

And of course, I had to cut Hallie's hair to match.

Mom's Spring Break Fun - April 2013

This year, instead of spending spring break with my family, I got to go to Las Vegas with a dear friend and her sisters.  It was so fun to get away "with the girls."  It was a quick trip, but a much needed trip!!  We drove down and stayed at the Luxor, spent a day, and then drove home the following day.

A view from our room.  We stayed in the pyramid and the elevators really do go diagonally. It was crazy!

Pictures from the strip.

We were able to see a couple of shows......Beatles Love - which was absolutely amazing!!!

We also saw Nathan Burton's Magic Show

Kellie winning big bucks on the slot machines.

Gorging ourselves at one of the buffets!!

Before we left town, we had to stop at hte "Gold & Silver, Pawn Shop" as seen on TV's "Pawn Stars".  No, we didn't get to see anyone famous, but it was still a lot of fun to see the shop.....PS....it is a lot smaller then it looks on TV.

Line the had to wait in, to get in.

Awesome trip!  Can't wait until we get to go again!!!
