Remie Becomes a Beautician

As I went to go to bed on the night of April 24th....I noticed some hair laying on the step.  I picked it up and thought, "Oh, No!!"  However, since all of the kids had gone to bed, I couldn't do any detective work.  

 

The next morning I immediately went to the twins....and this is what I found.....

 Remie had cut both sides of her hair.  I had a hair appointment already set up for all of us, two weeks later....and I didn't want to make a bigger mess out of it, so I just left it until we could get to "Peggy's."

Mom's Spring Break Fun - April 2013

This year, instead of spending spring break with my family, I got to go to Las Vegas with a dear friend and her sisters.  It was so fun to get away "with the girls."  It was a quick trip, but a much needed trip!!  We drove down and stayed at the Luxor, spent a day, and then drove home the following day.

We were able to see a couple of shows......Beatles Love - which was absolutely amazing!!!

 We also saw Nathan Burton's Magic Show

Before we left town, we had to stop at hte "Gold & Silver, Pawn Shop" as seen on TV's "Pawn Stars".  No, we didn't get to see anyone famous, but it was still a lot of fun to see the shop.....PS....it is a lot smaller then it looks on TV.

Awesome trip!  Can't wait until we get to go again!!!

Easter 2013

 I love Easter time, the meaning of it and to see the excitement of the girls.  The big girls are getting to that age, but the little girls LOVE IT!!

 Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Shirley's

 Each year, Grandma Shirley fills "Golden Eggs" with money, plus all of the other eggs that are filled with candy.  The big kids usually just run around trying to find all of the eggs with money and pass up on the ones with candy.  So the little kids, usually make bank on the candy!!

The Saturday after Easter, we went to Idaho to spend Easter with my family.  We had another great egg hunt!!
