1 Year Stats

We just got back from our 1-year Well Check-Up.  Our height and head measurements are doing great....our weight not so much.   He said they are doing great and we can start on regular milk....thank goodness.  The only problem is, we are going camping next week...for a whole week, and I don't know if I want to change their milk while we are living in the woods.  So we may have to wait a week until we are home.

Hallie - 
Weight: 16 pounds 7.5 ounces - <5%ile.  Which means she has fallen off the "typical" bell curve.
Height:  29 1/2 inches - 75%ile.


Remie - 
Weight:  17 pounds 8 ounces - 6%ile.
Height:   29 inches - 50%ile.


They are still a pound apart.  But Remie is catching up on height.

Lagoon and Hogle Zoo

We just got back from a great weekend.  We went to Lagoon and Hogle Zoo with my family.  It is the first time I have been to Lagoon since I was in High School and I think it was that long for Ryan as well.  Our kids LOVED it.

We got to celebrate their birthday for 3 days....I guess having your birthday on a holiday does have it's perks.

Eating Cake on July 4th  - We weren't going to have their big party until we were at my mom's on Monday, but Ryan made them their own little cakes to eat on their birthday...What a good dad!
